Mrs. Charles A. Sink receives congratulations from Philadelphia Orchestra Conductor Eugene Ormandy following the presentation to her last night of a Michigan Legislature Resolution honoring the memory of her late husband. The resolution was offered by Sen. Gilbert Bursley, who made the presentation to Mrs. Sink. The memorial to Dr. Sink, former president of the University Musical Society, pays tribute to his lifetime of public service and praises him for "bringing great music to Michigan." The 80th annual May Festival is dedicated to the lasting memory of Dr. Sink.
